Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Effective October 1, 2026

This policy is for residents of Washington and Nevada, and anyone whose information we collect there. It describes how Luminous Sends LLC handles consumer health data: personal information that identifies your past, present or future physical or mental health.

What we collect and why

  • That you have requested a Reiki send, and which one: to provide it.
  • Your intention and reflection on the intake form: so your practitioner can prepare your send.
  • Your check-in scores (stress, physical discomfort, emotional heaviness, mental clarity, energy, sleep) and what you noticed: so you can see your journey, and so your practitioner can prepare your send.
  • Your daily Light and journal entries: so you can see your journey.
  • Your feedback after a send: to improve our service.

We collect all of this only with your consent, apart from the send you ordered, which we need in order to provide it. We use it only for the purposes above.

Where it comes from

Only from you: the intake form, the Companion app and your messages to us.

What we share

We do not sell consumer health data, and we do not share it with third parties or affiliates.

It is handled on our behalf, and only on our instructions, by:

  • the practitioner preparing your send, who sees your first name, intention, reflection and before-send scores only while your send is assigned to them;
  • our service providers: Supabase (database), Railway (hosting) and Resend (email delivery).

Your rights

You can:

  • confirm whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data, and access it;
  • ask for a list of the third parties and affiliates it has been shared with or sold to (there are none);
  • withdraw your consent;
  • have it deleted.

In the Companion app, go to Settings to withdraw consent or delete your data. Or email hello@luminoussends.com. We will respond within 45 days.

If we decline your request, reply to our decision to appeal. We will answer an appeal within 45 days and explain our reasons. If your appeal is denied, you may contact the Washington State Attorney General at www.atg.wa.gov/file-complaint, or the Nevada Attorney General at ag.nv.gov.
